@CARLRJ Not sure if the question was rhetorical, but here are some reasons why I have bought it - it's a quality premium war game on IOS and I like them - I lost 6 or 7 games with IAPs from Slitherine and while I would love the to be updated and I'm disappointed, it doesn't annoy me to the point of ...

The site used to just give great editorial about good games that caught the attention of the team regardless of type and that charm was infectious. Post changes, the uniqueness and life is being sucked out with by-the-numbers daily articles and stringent category rules based on community led polls.....

Re: Review: Neo Scavenger

It would be nice to know what the game is like on iPad, I now know that it’s awful on phone and great on a desktop. Whatever the editorial thinking, it would be great to follow up with a review on one of the principal devices it was released on, especially as it seems to have promise.

Yes, echo thank you sentiments for following up with a review of the survey and your thoughts on next steps. It's nice to be in the loop and don't be too hard on the writing, editing and refularity - structure and flexibility are not always the best of friends!

Good to hear you are enjoying the game, sadly with Hexwar pedigree, no significant gameplay iOS specific vids or reviews and a price tag that is higher than their other fare, this review confirms my fears!

I read this and thought 'asynchronous.... I don't remember that!' Before I went to go revisit to see if I had gone mad, you have confirmed my experience. Not async... never going to use it - shame!

Re: Sliding to DEFCON 1: Twilight Struggle tournament thread

Hardco over skoptic via defcon suicide in round 6. I had things pretty well in hand, with no Soviet influence in the Americas, but skoptic was in the same position I was in Round 1, not understanding all of the ways to auto-lose the game. He played Grain Sales at defcon 2 and got couped in Zaire fo...

Re: Review: Legends of Callasia

I know it might sound funny, but I couldn't see a way to zoom out and see the whole map, so deleted the game. Was I being a numpty or is that the case?
