I played the Hitchhikers to the Galaxy game. I got somewhere. Maybe. Maybe I used the hint system A LOT. This was back on an apple 2e, I think.

If Faeria and Elder Scrolls: Legends provide such good solo content, why not give the apps the ability to play offline? I get that these guys sometimes get protective of their digital ccgs and ensuring that players don't hack their local app data to get all the rares or something. But it certainly s...

Faeria is great. I was solo'ing the campaigns this weekend. Good stuff. Hero Academy 2 sounds like a clone of Clash Royale. https://clashroyale.com/ It's the latest gametype that everyone is cloning. It's a decent gametype b...

Bit City is part of a genre I've started noticing since "Battleborn Tap". I've seen at least 5 others since then. Generally it's a LOT of tapping to upgrade your money generating things. You get money all the time regardless of whether you're online or offline. Sometimes less if you're not...

I quite enjoy Faeria. But, for me it's 4 out of 5 stars. Why? I can't play it while offline.

Yes. I love Plants Vs Zombies heroes!

Lost Portal is decent too.

My other CCG right now is Animation Throwdown. But that's only for the theme. That game needs more depth.

I wish the game was a little more informative or intuitive. Moving units is oddly confusing to me. And seems to function differently at different game speeds or other factors I don't understand. Also, I suppose I am not much of a fan of this gametype. Galcon?

Causality is great. I wish it embraced paradoxes. It can detect that you have done something that would prevent the thing that you did. It can even figure out what your guys do after that. It felt awesome the first time I saw the time travel effect. That turning left towards a time portal would ther...

Oh yeah. And I tried Hearthstone but the 1 lane of combat bores me. Give me 5 lanes to deal with. Or at least 3 and I might be interested.

Plants vs Zombies: Heroes is my latest digital CCG obsession. It's multi-lane (5 lanes to fight in). Very interesting and seemingly balanced. It's got"bounties". You can have 3 at a time. Every 3 hours you get a new one unless you're full. You can kick out bounties you don't want to do. It...
