Re: PT Guides: Like... Roguelikes? You'll Love These!

Also:
Binding of Isaac:Rebirth (if you can get past the blatant symbolism/religious references/generally weird stuff)
Future Fate
Dungeon Raid
Guild of Dungeoneering

My most favourite of all was Space Grunts, but despite its 'weirdness', Isaac is my current favourite (non turn-based).

Meanwhile, the well deserving 5-Star Twighlight Struggle STILL doesn't multitask on iOS.

For me, I rarely buy any game reviewed at <=3 on PT. Has served me well, so arguing over 1 or 2 stars doesn't seem worth the bother for me.

Re: Reader’s Choice Game of the Year 2016: Pathfinder Adventures

I'll have to give this game another go. I played V1.0 for some time, but had numerous issues and managed to get reasonably far before getting stuck in an endless loop. I realise a huge number of updates have since been made live, so I guess there is no better time to give it another go.

Re: Board Game of the Year 2016: Twilight Struggle

Well deserved but I've stopped playing on the iPad due to no multitasking support. Not being able to close the app and come straight back into the game is incredibly frustrating. I understand it's an issue with Unity (I think), but a solution is desperately required. I'm mainly only play on the Mac ...

For me, Space Grunts would be the winner. Just superb. Crashlands is good, but for me it soon got boring.

This is firmly now enlisted on my App Store wish list. I'll be keeping a close eye. I always like an offer! Looks like the game is regularly updated, which bodes well. Well done Wave Light Games! Banner Saga also takes up an entry for me, but i think DR2 will be next to win my finger's authorisation...

Seconded. It's a brilliant game. I'd love a second campaign though.

Oh PT, these OUT NOW articles are hammering my wallet (and I always click your affiliate links as a thank-you)!

I love these, but my bank account hates me! And only hours after the Black Friday post ;)

Re: Out Now: Surpise RPG Edition

I've been playing Neon Chrome for a week on PC: it's very cool, indeed. It plays like a rogue twin-stick shooter in randomly generated office buildings. Each run sees you take control of a new avatar with his/her own set of skills and equipment. During the course of the run, your asset will find ne...
