"Out Now" content can be pretty hit or miss based on what's been released. There have been some really strong weeks this year and others have been tougher to fill. I try to pull in games from other genres where they seem interesting and potentially intriguing to strategy-minded players. Pu...

I failed to mention KAMI somehow, one of my all-time favorites (though 32 bit and probably not getting updated). KAMI 2 was recently released, uses the same mechanics, and is also enjoyable. Trilogic was part of Apple's indie promo and also good (and cheap). I also grabbed Blyss when it was Apple's ...

Agreed on Faeria being much improved on iPad, though I do still see something wonky now and then. Hero Academy 2 sounds like a clone of Clash Royale. Yeah, probably. I'm not super excited about it at this point. Tell us more about the review of Vengeance that is dated April 3rd but 404s... I have no...

Jalmyr II is th mission pack. Be careful with in-app purchases. Pack was purchased fine but app crashed and then wouldn't let me start the app and login again until I deleted the app and installed again. Soon this is going to a a fine iPad game! Can't wait. I've run into some weird bugs on my iPad ...

Thanks PT. this is a fantastic guide. I own all the primary games on this list and they are all great. Downloaded Stencilsmith on the back of this though and am so far enjoying very much! Highly recommend this seemingly underrated/publicised title. Thanks! I appreciate it, and I'm glad you like Ste...

I agree 100%. Guild is awesome. What's more, the devs ongoing support of the game with expansions that are free for those who already own it puts anything they make in insta-buy territory for me.

When is the Warbits expansion arriving? The wait is killing me... Last I heard from the devs was early 2017. Maybe this month? I inquired but haven't heard back. If I get something this week I'll put it in next week's news post. Any news on Faeria and Card Thief on iOS? Can't be too long now... Fae...

Great updates, as always, Nick : ) It would be interesting to see a list at some point in the future of games PTers like that may vanish with the elimination of 32-bit support. Just an idea. Thanks much. Joe mentioned that same idea, actually. Might become a thing, though I'm not sure if there is a...

Here's a quick call out of the intro for those that skimmed and came directly to the comments: "What follows is a number of intriguing titles that make me very optimistic about the coming year in mobile gaming. There are a lot of games in development of course, but these are the ones I am most ...
