Great review. I agree wholeheartedly with all of the positives and negatives mentioned. The UI do need a bit of a cleanup, especially playing on phones. But the depth and details of the game had me coming back for more each time.

I was looking to pick this one up, but some reviews say the combat gets repetitive and grindy (similar to JRPGs) and once you find a winning combo, you can use it and the game doesnt force you to mix it up. Are these negatives still valid, for those who have made reasonable progression in game?

As much as I love RTS, I just cannot bear myself to play it on mobile. Inaccurate controls in real time is just painful. Turn based strategy is really where it's at.

I've tried this a few months ago and just could not get into it. The interface feels cheap and rough. Also the encounters are hard in the beginning that I could not win enough gold before losing it to purchase any new cards, making progression a big issue for me. Has the developer fixed or improved ...
