I am a little confused about the new direction of this site. It sounded like the plan was to stop covering free games overall and also stick to very specific genres, especially given the one post a day problem. Here we have an interview about a free game. Meanwhile, adventure RPGs and the like are n...

Joe, I don't think anybody is suggesting you require this writer to own a tablet. What we're suggesting is you understand the games being reviewed at least well enough to assign them properly. If the reviewer also has a phone to check it out on and provide some impressions there, so much the better.

I have to agree here. This is a tablet game, why assign it to a reviewer who can only play it on the smallest possible device? Talk about setting somebody up for failure... This review is meant for people with small phones wondering if they should play the game, I guess. We have that answer. Can we ...

Put me in the "don't throw the baby out with the bath water" camp, especially when it comes to these new release posts. Fighting Fantasy Legends appears decidedly within the new scope, if you're covering RPGs anyway. Dave and Owen before him covered all the Sorcery games, for example. Dave...

I've heard Monument Valley 2 is a bit short, is this true? Still worth the $5? I did give Flick Heroes a try after reading this. It's actually a lot of fun and perfect for a few minutes here and there. I've watched some ads but haven't spent anything, though I might in order to support the devs. I n...

I saw this on the app store but wasn't sure because it was freemium. This review convinced me to try and I'm glad I did. Much deeper game than expected. A guide for this one would be great.

I agree with both the article and the comments above that there is a distinction between good and bad FTP. It is really hard to find the good ones.

I'll third that, good news round up. As a side note, I bought Osmos and if you guys linked to games here a whole 21 cents would be all yours right now. ;) Just a thought. While MTG Puzzle Quest is a well-produced game, the more cards it adds, the less interested I am in ever playing it again. It's t...

Absolutely agreed that a writer should have a style and voice that is not drivel. My point is there's some space between this and just calling everything "interesting" and slapping on 4-5 stars like certain other sites. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title=...
