Bit City is made by NimbleBit, so anyone familiar with their typical game design should know what they are getting in to. I generally despise free to play garbage, but I have been a NimbleBit fan since I first bought an iPhone and spent way too much time breeding as many frogs I could in Pocket Frogs.

Tiny Tower, Tiny Planes, and Tiny Trains are all pretty generous with currency, and I've never had a problem waiting for things to finish building. I don't know why I give them a pass as opposed to other freemium developers, but I think NimbleBit does it right.

Except for the removal of Tiny Death Star. It is a shame that that was removed from the store.

I tried out Bit City because usually I like NimbleBit's stuff.

It's about 20% SimCity, and 80% Cookie Clicker. It is a "game" in a technical sense. That said, I wouldn't worry too much about IAP, much like Pocket Trains.
