Review: Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion

Tue Apr 04, 2017 4:00 pm

Rome: Total War, one of the most popular PC games in the history of PC gaming, was painstakingly recreated on the iPad by Feral Interactive and released back in November 2016.

Thank you for the excellent review! I'm wouldn't call myself a hardcore gamer, but I do enjoy deep strategy games (like chess) and military games that draw upon historical events. I've enjoyed several highly rated games such as Panzer Corp, Battle Academy, Pike & Shot, and also the non-historical but excellent Starbase Orion, but IMO TWR and TWBI takes the cake. So deeply satisfying on both strategic and tactical levels, that I deleted all other gaming apps from my iPad except for ShredderChess (which I'll always keep) and Twilight Struggle (which I haven't learned to played yet). If you like games that require thought and planning, then I highly recommend TWR and TWBI.
