Tim Fowers has had quite the run as a designer; his first hit was Paperback, a word game with deckbuilding elements, and now he’s set to steal our hearts once...

Great review, and very accurate : ) I bought this day-one and have been enjoying it (I was already a fan of the physical game); the play experience is really smooth, and the game has enough variety to stay fresh after many multiple plays. I also agree that the presentation (font, windows, etc) could be better matched to the feel of the game itself--that one aspect just feels sort of plain. And the game has so much character, it stands out. Some minor character animations would have been nice too.

But overall, a very good purchase, and one that saves a lot of time from setting up the physical game to play solo.

Is there any word from the dev as to whether there will eventually be online multiplayer?

Is there a bug with the Peterman?

Card says it rolls an extra dice opening the safe, but this doesn't seem to happen.
