Huge release week kicks off with the arrival of Stone Age

This may turn out to be the biggest release week of the year. Ready to Rubble.

Stone Age - the first big release in a week of big releases - has arrived on the App Store. I've been hearing positive noises about this board game adaptation from folks who played the beta and I came away from my interview with the developers more than a little impressed with their vision.

Competing for your attention this week are Football Manager Handheld 2013 and Battle of the Bulge. FMH should arrive tonight, and Battle of the Bulge is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon Eastern time. I've spent a few days with an advance copy of Battle of the Bulge and my review will be going up later today - I promise it'll be worth coming back for.

Stone Age is going for $4.99 and it's iPhone-only, though Campfire Creations have promised a universal update down the road. Have you picked it up already? Let us know what you think in the comments.

UPDATE: Okay, I've sunk a little time into Stone Age and - wow. It's good. Steep learning curve for those who haven't played the board game, but once you've surmounted that it is a gem.
