Prepare yourself for a world of spooks and scares – Alchemy Stars, the gacha RPG from Tourdog Studio, is fully embracing the Halloween season with a huge heap of events, recruitment opportunities, costumes, and more for you to enjoy.
At the heart of it all will be the “Into the Haunted House” stages, which will – you guessed it – have you exploring a haunted house to uncover the secrets and treasures that lie within. If you’re more of a fan of silver screen scares, the “Set Construction Time!” stages will instead task you with building a film set, finding a script, and helping film the next great horror movie with actors from across the Cloud Gardens.
On top of that, three new characters are joining the game (and potentially your party), while some of your favourites will be getting creepy new costumes to switch into to fit the season. Haunted House Watch
The main draw of “One Cut of Screams” is surely the new time-limited event stages, “Into the Haunted House” and “Set Construction Time!” Both will offer up plenty of rewards for taking part, so it’s worth jumping in as soon as possible so you don’t miss out.
“Into the Haunted House” will take all of your courage to complete, but you could get a brand new character as a reward for your bravery. 5-star Aurorian Sadie will be exclusively available from the haunted house’s “Secret Room” shop, and can only be unlocked in exchange for event-limited Antique Coins. This shop will also be home to ghoulish furnishing like the Mocking Mask and Spooky Tree, as well as upgrade materials and other fine items.
Meanwhile, “Set Construction Time!” is a far more relaxed affair, bringing together your favourite Aurorians to put on spooky performances on a film set that you’ll need to build. Once you’ve completed the set, you’ll be able to earn rewards through the “Lights, Camera, Action!” minigame, which unlocks new furnishings and hidden content from performing the scripts you’ll have accrued during the event.
There are other new additions and a few rewards coming too, including the Windelion Festival Furnishing Set, new fish to catch, and treat in your inbox. Both “Into the Haunted House” and “Set Construction Time!” will run from October 20 to November 14, with the “Secret Room” store staying open until November 17 to give you a bit of extra shopping time.

Two new Aurorians will be joining Alchemy Stars alongside the “One Cut of Screams” in new Limited-Time Recruitments, with a couple of 6-star characters to add to your roster. You can grab Lilica, an actor/director, through the Kaleidoscopic Persona recruitment, and Minos from the Beastly Phantasm recruitment event. Both Limited-Time Recruitments are available from October 20 to November 17, after which Lilica and Minos will be added to the Mainstay Recruitment.
Want a new look for your existing party members? A bunch of new seasonal outfits are also being added to the game, including Revy: Prison Menace, Charon: Born to Act, Hedy: Acting Sheriff, and more. Plus you can increase your chances at earning certain characters with new Targeted Recruitments, which will increase the odds of earning 6-star Aurorians Novio, Florine, Victoria, and Raphael at various points from October 27 to November 24.
Still not content with all this content? A new Special Event Book Phase will also be available to anyone who has completed Main Stages 1-16. Special Event Book Phase 11 will offer up a range of rewards, with free, elite, and deluxe versions of the pass available from October 20 to December 15. New furniture, backgrounds, and outfits are on offer if you dare to explore the Special Event Book.
