Netease has now revealed Project Mugen will instead be titled Ananta. Despite this change in name, the game still looks to have a modern feel with a large city to explore, and interesting characters each with their own distinct combat mechanics to help take down gigantic enemies threatening the city.

Project Mugen release date speculation
For now, there’s no official Ananta or Project Mugen release date, however, we speculate that Netease will release it at some point in 2025.
