Anime Vanguards tier list October 2024

Our Anime Vanguards tier list not only ranks the individual units but it also explains how to get gems to summon even more characters.

Our Anime Vanguards tier list is a crucial read if you want to make the most of your units in this Roblox tower defense game. Sure, you may recognize some of the courageous heroes from your favorite anime, but just because they’re the main attraction from their franchise doesn’t mean they’re the top dog here. So, to help you get the best of the best, we can even tell you how to get new Anime Vanguards units.

Another solid bit of advice we have is to redeem all of the Anime Vanguards codes you can, especially as they often provide currency for summoning units. Alternatively, if you’re after rankings for other Roblox games, we have an Anime Royale tier list and an Anime Last Stand tier list.

To form our rankings, we use our own experience and mix it with the thoughts of the community. If we put a character in rank D but they work for you, perfect, use them and defend your base. One of the best things about games like this is that the vast number of units leaves room for you to get creative, and what works for you may not be what works for other people.

How do I get more Anime Vanguards units?

While the game allows you to pick between three characters – Luffo, Narutu, and Ichiga – for your first unit, you need to visit the summon portal in the main hub for subsequent summons. Each summon costs 50 gems, which you can get by simply playing the game or visiting our aforementioned codes guide.

Speaking to each NPC you encounter is a good idea, as most of them reward you with gems after your first conversation – visiting areas such as the ‘Evolve’ building and interacting with the desks also yields free gems. After that, completing quests and playing through the story is the best way to get the currency.

Who are the best units on our Anime Vanguards tier list?

You could class any of the S+-tier units from our Anime Vanguards tier list as the best characters in the game. Alucard (Vampire King) is especially useful for taking on regenerative enemies by afflicting them with bleed, while Vogita Super (Awakened)’s high attack power makes him an ideal beat-stick for taking down hefty bosses.

Igros (Elite Knight) is also deserving of the highest rank, thanks to his resistance to stun and damage-boosting abilities. We’d count these three units as the best in-game options at the time of writing, but it could all change with future additions, plus the possibility of buffs and nerfs.

One thing to remember when it comes to the best units is that they cost a lot of gold, especially if you want to upgrade them to the max. So, while aiming to bring Igros (Elite Knight) into battle is a good thing, it might not be the best course of action if you’re running low on funds. Gold is always a factor when choosing the best course of action for a fight.

When do new Anime Vanguards units arrive?

We tend to see new characters arrive alongside big updates, as we did with the addition of Renguko (Purgatory), Bean, and others as part of the Slayer’s Corp 0.5 update in September 2024. After new units launch, we take a few days to put them to the test before ranking them on our Anime Vanguards tier list. While we don’t know when the next update is, we’re keeping a close eye on the game’s Discord and the dev’s social channels to ensure we’re in the loop.

That concludes our Anime Vanguards tier list; we hope our rankings and advice on how to get gems help you become the ultimate hero. If you prefer freebies to opinions, check out our Anime Royale codes, Dress to Impress codes, Jujutsu Piece codes, and Devas of Creation codes guides.
