Our Anime Vanguards tier list is a crucial read if you want to make the most of your units in this Roblox tower defense game. Sure, you may recognize some of the courageous heroes from your favorite anime, but just because they're the main attraction from their franchise doesn't mean they're the top dog here. So, to help you get the best of the best, we can even tell you how to get new Anime Vanguards units.

While we rank all of the Anime Vanguards units in this guide, it's best to read our article that's completely dedicated to them if you want to learn everything there is to know about these characters. Another solid bit of advice we have is to redeem all of the Anime Vanguards codes you can, especially as they often provide currency for summoning units.

To form our rankings, we consider the thoughts of the community and compare them to our own experience. However, this isn't an exact science; tier lists are, by nature, very subjective, so if we place something in rank D that you think should be S or higher, that's great, use them and win your battles.

How do I get new Anime Vanguards units?

While the game allows you to pick between three characters - Luffo, Narutu, and Ichiga - for your first unit, you need to visit the summon portal in the main hub for subsequent summons. Each summon costs 50 gems, which you can get by simply playing the game or visiting our aforementioned codes guide.

Speaking to each NPC you encounter is a good idea, as most of them reward you with gems after your first conversation - visiting areas such as the 'Evolve' building and interacting with the desks also yields free gems. After that, completing quests and playing through the story is the best way to get the currency.

When do new Anime Vanguards units arrive?

We tend to see new characters arrive alongside big updates, as we did with the addition of Tuji (Sorcerer Killer), Julias, and others as part of update 1 in October 2024. We take a few days to try out new units once they release to ensure we can rank them effectively for our Anime Vanguards tier list.
