Eisenhorn gets release date for PC, iOS/Android release later05 Apr 2016 0
Nothing is more exciting than writing about something you know very little about. That topic, as usual, is Warhammer 40K. Yes, we have news of another Warhammer game coming to iOS and I'm going to spend the next paragraph or two improvising my way through this. While not everything regarding the background of the game will be correct, I'm sure that my improv skills are good enough that you won't notice.
Eisenhorn: XENOS tells the tale of Gregor Eisenhorn, a man with enough style that his giant shoulder pads don't clash with his duster. He's an inquisitor which means that no one expects him, and he probably carries with him several comfy pillows. There's a threat to the Imperium, so Eisenhorn uses his psychic abilities, stealth, and sexy voice to get to the bottom of things.
Sounds great, eh? In all seriousness, XENOS is an adventure game set in the Warhammer 40K world based on a series of much-loved novels. You will control Eisenhorn who, believe it or not, has more going for him than his fashion sense. I wasn't kidding about the sexy voice, though. Narrating the game as Eisenhorn is Mark Strong, whose sultry pipes made the first RDJ Sherlock Holmes film worth watching.
Developer Pixel Hero Games has announced a release date for Eisenhorn: XENOS for PC, May 4th. It's also coming to iOS and Android, but not until later in 2016. They also dropped a new teaser trailer featuring Mark Strong, which instantly pushed this to the top of my "must buy" list. Check it out below.
