Hearthstone’s The Witchwood expansion launches next week06 Apr 2018 0
Blizzard have announced that the next expansion for their genre-dominating CCG Hearthstone will be launching on April 12th.
The Witchwood – Hearthstone’s eighth expansion – will introduce 135 new cards, a new alternative Druid hero in Lunara and three new keywords: Start of Game, Echo and Rush. There’s also a new solo mode called Monster Hunt, which Is similar to Dungeon Run and features four exclusive playable classes.
Anyone who pre-orders The Witchwood will get a special 50 card pack bundle, the In a Dark Wood card-back, as well as 20 additional Witchwood boosters. For a limited time, players can also log in after the expansion launches and claim three card packs and a random Class legendary card from the new card pool absolutely free. They’re really pushing them pre-orders, eh? The expansion retails for £44.99 / EUR 49.99 / $49.99 USD.
Once the expansion drops our resident card master Matt Thrower will be dropping his knowledge on us, so look out for that towards the end of the month.
