Battlefleet Gothic: Leviathan is now available worldwide on iOS, following a soft launch in New Zealand, Australia & South Africa earlier this week.

You can thank developer Grand Cauldron for bringing this classic table-top fleet game from Games Workshop to mobile, and it is available for purchase here.

Leviathan is selling for $5.99/£4.49, and the notes say it doesn't have any micro-transactions. It requires iOS 7, as well as an iPhone 5, iPad 3, iPad mini 2 or above to work.

Set in the iconic Warhammer 40,000 universe, Battlefleet Gothic: Leviathan is a turn-based strategy game that throws you into the Shield of Baal campaign. You must marshal the forces of the Imperial Navy & the Blood Angels Space Marines to repel the dreaded Tyranid threat from the system. Here is a gameplay trailer they released earlier in the year:

The game features online multiplayer, as well as Hot Seat mode so you can play locally on a single device. New content and playable races are expected in the future, although whether this will be free updates or IAPs is currently unknown. There is also currently no official word on an Android release.

We will bring you a review as soon as we can.
