Sentinels of the Multiverse coming to a phone near you02 May 2016 8
Since its release in 2014, playing Sentinels of the Multiverse on your phone seemed about as likely as me squeezing into a pair of skinny jeans. There's just no way it would fit. While my diet has been less than successful, it seems like the Handelabra guys have figured it out and just announced this morning that a phone version is on the way.
Handelabra has been working on the project for quite awhile now, and have shown off their work in a new trailer that shows the new phone UI in action. It appears that the phone will act as one "pane", and you can flip between the different characters. What it doesn't show is landscape play which is a small price to pay for having Sentinels in your pocket.
As I mentioned, they've been working on this "in secret" for a bit, so we're not too far from it becoming a reality. Handelabra is saying that it should be released as a free Universal update for iOS and Android devices sometime this summer. The project became reality when their Kickstarter reached $65K. That's still $15K short of the Season 2 goal of $80K and there are only 10 days left. If you're a Sentinels fan, head on over and check out their campaign.
Go and watch the video, realizing that what you're looking at is only a prototype and the UI could change quite a bit before it actually arrives on the App Store later this year.
