Sentinels of the Multiverse Updates to 2.0 - Gets Smartphone Support & Discount

I'll be honest, I wasn't that bothered by Sentinels of the Multiverse when I played it. I only tried the physical version the once, but it didn't blow me away – I felt there were better Deck-Building games out there.

Not according to our very own Dave Neumann though, who gave the 2014 digital adaptation 5/5, and it looks like Pocket Tactics has been faithfully following the game ever since.

For all you other people who rather enjoyed Sentinels (and for anyone who has yet to pick it up) two very cool things have happened today:

Firstly, it's been updated to a 'universal' release with version 2.0, meaning that you can now play the game on your phone as well as your tablet. For iOS, this means iPhone and iPod Touch devices that have iOS 9 or later. There is a full list of supported devices on the official announcement.

For Android, any smartphone with a 3.5” screen or larger and supports NEON. You also need Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or later. Multiplayer remains fully cross-platform compatible.

The second thing is that the game has received a bit of a discount. You can buy the game for $2.99/£2.79, and the Season One Pass has also been reduced to $17.99 / £15.99 (down from $24.99). Don't forget you can also try out the game for free with the Learn to Play Edition.

At the time of writing, Sentinels only appears to be discounted on Google Play, as iTunes is still showing the $3.99/$24.99 price tags respectively. We'll update you if that changes.
