Big Brain Academy: Brain vs Brain announced for Nintendo Switch

The DS classic returns with a brand new batch of puzzling minigames

Two players take part in a minigame, where you must choose the right piece of train track needed to guide a train to the station

Nintendo has announced the return of a classic DS series, with Big Brain Academy: Brain vs Brain coming to Nintendo Switch this December 3. The brain-teasing series features interactive minigames designed to challenge your intellect, with the aim to improve your skill and speed over time.

This time the series has a whole batch of new games, these include memorising a series of numbers, identifying an animal as it slowly comes into focus, or helping guide a train to its goal to help stretch your grey matter. There are also new multiplayer modes, so you can challenge your friends locally with competitive games, aiming to get the highest score.

Another new addition is the ‘Ghost Clash’ mode, where you can tackle ghost data from other players online, so you can challenge your friend’s high scores, or just check the rankings and see how your brain fairs against the rest of the world. Pre-orders are already open, so you can fight your family with some brain-teasing puzzles ASAP.
