Multiplayer horror is returning to mobile as the Dead by Daylight Mobile relaunch is right around the corner. Pre-registrations are open now prior to the biggest update in the game’s history. Dead by Daylight Mobile initially launched in 2020 and this relaunch is the result of the team listening to community feedback and aiming to make the game the best it can be.
The update touches on every aspect of the game, but developers NetEase Games and Behaviour Interactive have paid particular attention to the way the game runs. Every character received a complete visual overhaul which adds physics to their hair and clothing and dynamic shading to the characters and the environment. The devs also fine-tuned the controls, fixed other bugs, and added more quality-of-life elements.
This includes the addition of a pre-game lobby so that Survivors can discuss their strategy before the game starts, as well as other social features. The update also adds a new tier of cosmetics called the Platinum Tier which comes with Memento Mori animations for the Killers.
Finally, the Rift season pass is coming to Dead by Daylight Mobile for the first time, bringing with it a rewards track of freebies to unlock and an updated ranking system so you can see where you place worldwide.
