There’s no better way to usher in spring and a new calendar year than starting up a fresh island save – and Walmart’s current deal on the Animal Crossing Switch Lite makes that all the more possible.
Currently, the Timmy and Tommy Aloha edition of the Nintendo Switch Lite – in a fetching, tropical blue – is down to $199 at Walmart when you buy it online. Not only does this edition have a lovely leafy print on the back and the Nook’s logo on the front, but it also comes with Animal Crossing: New Horizons bundled in for free.
Simply start up the console and get it updated, then you can fly to a new island and start building it up how you see fit with terraforming tools, customizable villager homes, and more furniture items than you can shake a stick at.

Other than the excellent deal of getting Animal Crossing pre-installed, you can make use of your Lite to play the best Nintendo Switch games out there completely handheld- and on a personal note, the console isn’t very heavy so makes long play sessions a breeze. May I suggest some farm games like Stardew Valley to really break it in?
