To achieve an S-rank in Tenna's gameshow in Deltarune Chapter 3, you need to perform well across the three rounds. Your performance takes into account how well you do in battle, the points you gain outside of combat, and your minigame scores.

Battle ranking
To get a high battle ranking each round, you need to defeat your opponents quickly, without taking much damage, and without using much TP. As you have to keep your TP above a certain threshold, it's best to heal using food and spend some turns on defense to make the combat easier on yourself.
Points outside of combat
Throughout the round, there are a range of ways that you can gain extra points outside of battles. These include collecting coins, answering quiz questions, and pulling weeds out of the ground. Maxing out your points in this category relies on you exploring the round's map to the fullest, so don't be afraid to spend time on this, as it could help you balance out your weaker categories.
Minigame score
Every Tenna game show ends with a minigame, and they each test a variety of different skills. Listen to the instructions carefully and do your best to earn around 500 points in this section if you want to succeed.
Can you buy an S-rank in Deltarune Chapter 3?
If you don't achieve an S-rank in a round, you can buy one from an NPC. You can find this NPC by heading south from the Green Room and looking for the golden Tenna statue. Upgrading your existing ranking to an S-rank costs 1.5k points, so you still have to do well in the gameshow round to rely on this back-up option.
