When is the Deltarune Chapter 5 release date?
The Deltarune Chapter 5 release date will, allegedly, fall in 2026. When you finish Chapter 4, you get a screen during the credits stating that the game is "to be continued in Chapter 5, 2026". There isn't a specific month or even quarter just yet.
Toby Fox released Chapters 1 and 2 for free between 2018 and 2021, with a slight delay on Nintendo Switch compared to PC. Chapters 3 and 4 were recently released on June 4, 2025, for $24.99. Originally, Chapter 5 was intended to release with 3 and 4, but was pushed back as development took a little longer.
Is there a Deltarune Chapter 5 trailer?
For now, there isn't a trailer or any media related to Chapter 5. As soon as we get one, we'll be sure to update right here.
How many Deltarune chapters will there be?
In total, there will be seven chapters in Deltarune. This isn't necessarily confirmed by Toby Fox in any announcement, but as the second chapter was released, the addition of Chapters 5, 6, and 7 appeared on the selection menu. You can't choose them yet, but they're there. It doesn't seem likely that a Chapter 8 will appear, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.
A rumor suggests that the final chapter may be released in 2028, to coincide with the ten-year anniversary of Chapter 1's release. This seems far off, but we all know game development takes a long time, so it may yet come to fruition.
