Percy Jackson and the Olympians' second season debuts on December 10, 2025, on Disney+, but that's not the only thing to get excited about. When anything gains traction, there's only one place it can go next, and that's Fortnite. There's a Percy Jackson Fortnite crossover coming to the game soon, and it looks like a blast. However, I can't help but think there's one key aspect missing.
If you didn't know, Fortnite is debuting a fresh tailor-made experience for fans of the show. The Percy Jackson: Siege of Monsters island is a Fortnite Creative map, available in-game from Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Like other custom lobbies of this scale, Disney is giving you the chance to roam around Camp Half-Blood, which is accurately realized as a full-fledged POI. Of course, it isn't all about living your dreams of becoming a student under the guidance of Mr.D.
You'll also be battling a range of monsters from the show, many of them emerging from the seas, promising some action-packed skirmishes. It looks like there'll be a boss fight, alongside a Mythic item that lets you harness superpowers inspired by the show. As far as Creative experiences go, this looks pretty great, even for anyone who isn't watching the show.
I fall very much into the category, with my knowledge of the franchise finding itself fueled by my very enthusiastic Pocket Tactics teammates. Oh, and the Logan Lerman movies. I know, they're not great, but defeating Uma Thurman with an iPod is kind of iconic. While the map features in-game depictions of Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood, it sadly seems that they're locked to this custom map.
That means there's a chance they won't appear in the Item Shop as new Fortnite skin bundles. Yeah, I know, that's pretty whack. And it doesn't make much sense, especially for Disney.
Given the sheer volume of high-profile characters in the game, with a Fortnite Marty McFly skin becoming the latest example of Fortnite's reach, it would be odd for Percy Jackson and his friends to go without the same treatment. Hopefully, that isn't the case. A pair of Kicks based on those winged Converse Allstars? It's a slam dunk. At least drop us some fresh Fortnite codes, Disney.
It's likely this will be a limited-time mode in Fortnite, so don't forget to find some teammates over at the Pocket Tactics Discord server before it disappears.
