Yes, this was a great review, Micheal! If I hadn't already bought the game, I would have now.

<t>Very intriguing! Thanks for the news--I had not seen this.<br/> <br/> I would think it would be a paid-subscription model for gamers (no doubt with different tiers), with devs getting paid via a similar model as to how music labels get paid for songs when they're streamed. Or maybe there's no fee...

<t>Great review--The comparison to Slay the Spire is totally on-point. It's the same core concept of play, with a different theme and weaker mechanics. It also feels increasingly geared towards making IAP necessary to "enjoy" the game, though I'm not sure how much enjoyment it would even add, honest...

Re:

Really enjoying Stardew Valley but hit a bug where my save game is bad, which means throwing away hours and hours of progress. Imagine throwing away a Civilization game in the year 1800 and you get the idea. I think the most recent update for iPad was bad...seen some forum chatter on that. Hopefull...

<t>For $1.99, this is a pretty solid game, with a lot more polish than I expected at that price point, honestly. And, as the reviewer notes, there's a good AI behind this too, so there's some actual challenge. <br/> <br/> That said, the battles can tend to get a bit same-y in terms of strategic deci...

I believe Reigns: GoT also just got a huge influx of new cards and content--100 cards, I believe. $2.99 is a steal for this game, IMO.

Out There is also fantastic, not that everyone doesn't already know that : )

I'll offer a counterpoint to this review, which I don't think is a "bad" review, but I do think it misses some things that make this game -much- better than 2 stars. As a lifelong Fire Emblem fan, I will also state my potential bias--this game is a near-perfect homage to the old Fire Emblem games of...

<t>Wow, you aren't kidding about that Partia 3 app store description. I have never seen one that's so self-critical of their own game. It's rather refreshing, really. The developer makes it clear that it's just one guy doing a "labor of love" project that he doesn't expect to find much of an audienc...
