Re: Get Back in t'Mill, Lad: Brass Tournament II

Hi everyone. Apologies for the radio silence. The usual Circumstances Outside Our Control, I'm afraid.

Oldham did finish (me 210, Irishdomer 165, janehatke 164 (!)) so I'll do the new rankings and games today.

Thank you for your patience...

Re: Sliding to DEFCON 1: Twilight Struggle tournament thread

Hi everyone - many apologies for vanishing. Real life, as ever, gets in the way of the good stuff sometimes. Thank you to Snotty for picking up the baton and breathing life into the tournament. JMH.75, I will launch our game. Onwards.

Thanks all. Oldham is about half-way through the rail phase, so not too long to go. :)

Re: Sliding to DEFCON 1: Twilight Struggle tournament thread

While we are waiting, anyone fancy a game? Sent you a challenge. I'm happy to take on all comers as well. My own tournament game has finally timed out. DBO vs skoptic is still ongoing, but as both players are in and committed, I'm happy to wait for a result before setting up round 2. Hopefully ever...

I think I am done with the learning phase, but I think the startplayer has a huge advantage in brass. This time it was me. :) Good score. Yeah, I think you can lose the L-plates, or local ...

Re: Get Back in t'Mill, Lad: Brass Tournament II

How does overbuilding work? Like, if i overbuild my port in the rail era, after that port has been flipped, is there any benefit I lose? If I need that location and can still flip it, is it a good idea? If the port is already flipped, you lose the VPs but not the income. If the building isn't flipp...

Re: Get Back in t'Mill, Lad: Brass Tournament II

Holsten told me that table Manchester has been set up with a time limit of 3 days. not standard, or? i wonder if all players are ok with this? This was a mistake on my part, sorry guys. Due to our timezone differences I don't think 3 days would be enough even if we all wanted to try to make it work...
