The green glow means it is a new card, but you also will see it if you move a card to another character in that screen. Regarding campaigns, you mention starting a campaign with experienced characters and deleting the prior saves. Does that mean if I have a save slot with some characters who are not...

If playing PermaDeath, don't forget you can forfeit your game if things are going badly for you. This is a good thing to do when playing normally as well, if you have a really bad first few turns. Just forfeit and restart the scenario. Forfeiting in the physical game is just your characters all choo...

Also - I intend to buy the RotR package for $25, but want to see what's it's like to play through the introductory bits with the starting 2 heroes they give you.
