<r>Weird, and a pity that it doesn???t seem to be a good game. The movie is a great absurdist comedy. As the Polish Film Institute has published some classic comedies with subtiles, you might find it there. It does feature Herman the Alligator: <URL url="https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TN6_E6Jm2aw">ht...

Re:

Following the article like to the UK app store, and you see "Halcyon 6: Lightspeed Edition". Go to the U.S. version of the app store and there is (only) "Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander". I am holding off on purchasing until I can be sure it is the same game. The entry on my store (Swiss) also says "...

For what it's worth, Slitherine is only the publisher of Afghanistan '11, as of its predecessor. The game is developed by Every Single Soldier, a small (I think 1-person?) indie studio. AFAIK, Afghanistan '11 was developed with mobile in mind, which wasn't really Slitherine's decision.

Fair warning: Pavilion looks a bit shit on the iPad. There's a black border around the screen and the resolution seems very low. For a game the graphics of which are its main selling point, that's not good.

Hi JRR, thanks for answering. I didn't know this was on mobile first; though, thinking of Commander: the Great War or Vietnam '65, there are mobile titles (though developed for PC first, I think) that don't shy away from complexity, one on a grand strategy scale and the other on a micro level.

<t>Bummer. I'm reading up on Congolese history at the moment, and there is a lot of potential in simulating such a seemingly chaotic situation as the Congo in the 1960s. I mean, they could have included Che Guevara, South African and Rhodesian mercenaries, Ex-Nazis (look up "Congo M??ller"), armed B...

If you're dying for more Dungelot, I'd recommend Runestone Keeper on iOS. Seems better than what you all say about World of Dungeons.

@tokyodan:
My experience on Ipad Air 2 is very good, game works fine without crash or stuttering (I haven't yet fought really large battles). I do have the same problem Nick describes with sending troops away while trying to zoom/move the camera.

How does this compare to the previous game MagaCity? It takes the core gameplay of MegaCity and adds many more cards and new mechanics, such as deckbuilding, vs modes against AI, and a skilltree. It's also much more beautiful in style and graphics. I really liked MegaCity, and this is a more comple...
