Re:

I'd say, the best DLC guide would be to scout around the "Workshop" and download the overhaul unit and factions mods. Re:

That article was doomed from the start because of the superlative in the title but it's worst than I expected. Not only some of the titles are more tactical than strategic but you missed so many good turn-based games (strategic and tactical)... *** Panzer Corps ***, Battle Academy, Warhammer quest,...

Re: <t>The Strategy Gamer's Guide to... The Best (Modern) Turn-Based Strategy Games</t>

Thinking about picking up Endless Space 2 for $12 in the current humble bundle. It has to be worth it, right? Already own Endless Legend, but haven’t had a chance to play it much. Re: Strategy Game Maps

Re:

No love for the Combat Mission X2 series?
You're not the first to ask! I'm not as familiar with that series so it didn't make the cut this time around, but quite a few people have flagged them up as good games so they'll probably be in V2 of the is.

How about the Panzer Campaigns games from John Tiller. I recently discovered this series of games ans I'm completely hooked. Amazing games and an amazing community ready to help you out.

Highly recommended!
Excellent shout! Which one is your favourite so far?

No Hearts of Iron IV, no Gary Grigsby's War in the West. Strike Two! They are the ultimate.
It was a toss up between War in the West and War in the East, truth be told. East won out this time.
