Re: <t>Mario Kart Tour is Coming Next Week - Here's Everything You Need to Know</t>

Really excited for this one. Could be one of the highlights of 2019. I don't mind a paywall at all so long as it’s a one-off payment that unlocks a full version of a good game. It’s kind of how things used to be in the App Store with lite versions of paid-for games. I much preferred those times. Hop...

Re: <t>Mini Motorways is coming to Apple Arcade this week</t>

I would dispute the roads in this game should be called motorways, but it does look good. I’m a big fan of Mini Metro and it didn’t disappoint on iOS after a very time in coming. I’m slightly worried about games like this only being available on Apple Arcade. I fear there will be a slew of good game...

Re: Re:

Not sure how many of these qualify as exciting. A few maybe, the rest are mostly meh. Good new games are getting more few and far between. I see the Santorini board game is out now. As a big fan of digital board game ports, I???m excited to see what this one is like. The physical game is great, so ...

Re: <t>Review: Pocket City</t>

There's a great feeling of 'at last' with this game. Having a decent premium city builder on iOS has been so long coming, and it's great to finally have one. Maybe it'll kick EA up the backside to do a proper Sim City, but I doubt it. They're too far down the freemium hellhole now. Is there a way to...

Looking at screenshots for this, it seems the text is really small and could be difficult to read. Is this the case?

Re: Review: Civilization VI

I agree with the case for some mobile games being treated the same as PC and console games just on a different platform, and I've long been a vocal advocate for more premium paid-for games on mobile instead of all the free rubbish ... but $60 does seem very steep and overpriced for a port of a game ...

Re: Simulation Game of the Year 2017: Guild of Dungeoneering: Ice Cream Headaches

Thanks very much Joe. I don't have a problem at all with how you decided the winner for this category, it sounds very fair. I just don't think GoD should have been in this category in the first place or that an expansion should have been eligible to win. But anyway, it's just a small thing and I'm e...

Re: Simulation Game of the Year 2017: Guild of Dungeoneering: Ice Cream Headaches

I'm a bit confused and am struggling to see what Guild of Dungeoneering is a simulation of. And also how an expansion can win game of the year.
