I figure if my iPad Pro (1st gen 12.9") can run Civ VI quite pleasantly, it can run every game I'm likely to care about.

<t>I enjoyed Galaxy Trucker but it struck me as the sort of game that seems long and satisfying when you have to setup all the physical pieces, calculate everything yourself, etc. On iPad, it comes off as short and shallow because everything is done for you and the experience is so quick. I dunno......

I guess I shouldn't criticize as mobile gaming is probably big enough for everyone from Magic Jigsaw players to Fortnite players. I would just hate for this to become the dominant approach across the board.

Totally understand where he's coming from. Just setting up a lot of boardgames (not to mention those Avalon Hill bookshelf classics) can be an hour or more, not to mention learning all the rules and then remembering them correctly, as well as arguing with others who have different interpretations or...
