I have to get this WI issue now. I have hordes of 15mm variously for FOG or now ADLG plus an unfinished project of 28mm Perry WoTR. My go to rules for period flair are The Perfect Captain's "A Coat of Steel". Of course I'll have to try these now and someday paint up the rest of those 28mm.

<t>I listened to the Slitherine twitch stream. They confirmed standalone game with future DLC to get to the meat of the middle ages, ie; 1300-1480s. <br/> <br/> The switch to standalone is not surprising given the issues trying to graft heavier armor and certain weapons into the ancients version. Al...

No. They already have white male voices in the game, so as the title suggests they are looking for diverse talent in addition to those voices.

<t>I bought CMBO and CM BB back in the day (on CD Rom). I really liked the WEGO system and CM itself. However every time I decided to try the new game engine I was put off by the convoluted DLC system and high price points. Their web site is not the most user friendly either! I am hoping they start ...

Re:

So, according to Standartenf??hrer Bill, Union Generals = BAD, but Rommel's okay.......got it. Just curious, how does everyone feel about the statue of Charles II in London? Good? Bad? Charles II? I don't see why that is a problem. You must mean Charles I. Totally different because the monarchy was...

Re:

Thanks, Derouter666, I had NO IDEA US Grant was on the losing side! "Protesters in San Francisco, California, toppled a statue of Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th president of the U.S. who led the Union Army during the Civil War, among other monuments at Golden Gate Park on Friday." Irrelevant to my post...

Re: <t>Grand Tactician: The Civil War is shaping up to be the definitive American Civil War strategy game</t>

Ahem. Word. May not be a thread you want to start. Now I'm off to build my first modern NATO fleet in miniature, to include the Lutjens Class Heavy Guided Missile Destroyer D-187 BMS Feldmarschal Irwin Rommel (another loser, also ahem). :) Colonel Bill You are right one has to be careful and spell ...

I downloaded the free for a day version to test it out. Not willing to pay $50 for it though.

Anyone notice how Paris resembles Orlando Bloom? Hmmm.
