Although this game gave me a lot of joy, its limitations (e.g. awful AI) are very apparent these days, so it's high time for Arma IV.

The problem with EUIV mods is that they not always catch up with the latest updates of the game.

I played it for a while during free weekend, and will say that even though the mechanics behind it are quite good, the combat as a whole still feels rather dull, although it's a step forward compared to EUIV.

I used to play Attila with Fall of the Eagles + Europa Perdita, but to be honest, none of these mods can be compared to DeI for Rome TW II. Ancient Empires looks great but I doubt it will ever be fully finished.
