Re: Agricola...All Creatures Big and Small

Thanks to JMH.75 for an absolute nailbiter of a game.

A solitary sheep stands between our scores, with me just stealing the lead to win 49-48

Re: No love for Legends of Callasia?

I'll give it a go later when I can download it on wifi. Whats the actualy gameplay like? I assume its strategic troop building on the world map followed by throwing them into a numbers centric tactical meat grinder. It looks like it follows the 'free to try with one paid unlock' model, but are there...

I would be in for some more free boosters if my own trainees would ever bother leveling up. I haven't tried the game but will likely do so based on what you and Joe have written about it here--if you can get credits for inviting me or something like that, just tell me how to cite you when I try the...

Re: CCG Week: Elder Scrolls Legends, Star Crusade & Lost Portal

Im still having a good time with Star Crusade. It probably helps that I only played HearthStone for a while, so I am neither in love with HS nor burnt out on the mechanics. It also helps that the sci fi theme appeals to me. As much as I loath playing against the aliens inspired class, I cant help bu...

Re: CCG Week: Deckstorm Duel of Guardians

For me, there is no way to kill a card game faster than developing a system where games can be decided by one person having better versions of the same cards than his opponent. What an awful, awful, awful design. Why bother selling a man one card when you can sell him ten of the same card? Keeps de...

Re: Out Now: Adventure Yourself Edition

Star Crusade just came out, and its a hearthstone style card battler with a sci fi theme. It doesnt seem to be doing anything particularly new with the genre, but if you dont mind more of the same then it seems alright to me.
