Re: Fallen London arrives on iOS

I can't sing the praises of this game enough. In the past 24 hours, I've continued my quest to Hunt the Vake. It's a tale of epic proportions, which has led me all about, from the Shuttered Palace to Mrs. Plenty's Carnival. I made the mistake of gazing into a mirror at the Carnval and found myself i...

Re: Fallen London arrives on iOS

I'm about to send contact invites to everyone listed here--I'm geigerm in-game as well. The whole thing's slowly getting more interesting to me, but it'd be good to have some contacts other than the one random I've found.
Yet again, I find myself needing a like button.

Re: Supergiant Games announces their third title, Pyre

Fingers crossed for this to hit mobile. I loved Bastion and Transistor - iirc, both came to iOS without any prior fanfare? Maybe there's hope in late 2017 / early 2018 for this one...

Re: Fallen London arrives on iOS

As an aside, their customer service is fantastic. Quick replies to support email and a quick resolution, as well. I've also become an Exceptional Friend, at least for the time being... what's $6.99 between friends. I'm not certain of the special storyline yet, but the double actions is certainly nice.

So akin to Dream Quest, but with deck construction instead of deck building?

Re: Fallen London arrives on iOS

For a player not thinking about paying, my question would be: is it worth spending time on this? I think so. There are certain story lines that are only accessible if you pay Fate, their version of currency. I haven't noticed any lack of progress from not buying them - it seems that the stories Fat...

Re: Fallen London arrives on iOS

Snap! My will-power crumbled and I am very glad it did. FL is a haunting, evocative story-telling title that slowly reveals its secrets through layer upon layer of whispers and intrigue through beautifully told vignettes. I too am focusing on Perusuasion and Shadowy, as I slowly pursue my Little-Fi...

Re: Medieval card game Ortus Regni finds its way to the App Store

I've played the physical version and it's absolutely beautiful - great presentation too, in its big box with a nice insert. I think I enjoyed it, but I'm embarrassed to admit I have no idea how to play, even after going through the iPad tutorial. Time to watch a video...

Haven't played this in forever, although it still resides on my iDevices. My wife always told me I was "sick" for playing it lol! Might be time to revisit it, although I've fully fallen down the Fallen London rabbit hole...

I'm in the same boat as Neumann with this one - I'm enjoying my time with it so far (started out in the browser window then got squirreled) but it's certainly a little overwhelming for a noob.
