Re: Review: First Strike: Final Hour

Oh boy...the take-away from this Review is a bit harsh in my opinion. That being said I haven't played the game in ages so I don't know about the new stuff (Diplomacy et al). When the game first came out it was the only one (I believe) there on Mobile Devices doing that. Since then it may have gotte...

Re:

Thanks for these concise guides ... I've been playing while and bought all IAPs but never knew about the expansion blocks and which complimented each other. The app doesn't go out of its way to tell you this. Unfortunately only prior knowledge or browsing the official Ascension Homepage tell you th...

Re: Interview: Fighting Fantasy Legends Design Director Carl Jackson

Pocket Tactics: How was the relationship with Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson (creators of Final Fantasy) formed, and how did that lead into making a game on the license?

Re: Civilization V: Best Civilisations Guide (Summer 2017)

I've always wanted to try a Venetian game in Civ V - just never got around to it. Thanks for your tips Prinny! Good to see you again :) With Venedig even more so than with other nations you needed to protect the Capital City's Zone of Influence of 5(!) hexes in each direction. I also spend up to 10...

Re: Civilization V: Best Civilisations Guide (Summer 2017)

Persia Going for Economic domination sure is a blast in MP and SP with the Persians. To pull it of you need to focus on happiness (frequent Golden Ages) and Golden Age specific wonders (which I always beeline to if possible) With twice extended Golden Age and a sacrificed artist for Golden Age here...

Re: Review: Stellaris: Utopia

I recently started playing Stellaris myself, and while awesome, it does have some pretty glaring flaws. Things like the ridiculously shallow combat system, limited race creation, and slightly unclear options put a serious dent on my overall enjoyment. I also discovered that there is no proper ping ...

Re: Review: Stellaris: Utopia

I have a massive problem with my backlog with tons of games. So I should have steared clear of Stellaris as I remember perfectly well how many hours I have put into Europa Universalis 2 and Hearts of Iron 1 10 years ago. But seeing I haven't played a Paradox Game in earnest in years (despite owning ...

Digital Gamebook "Slaughter at Masasada" (Heavy metal Thunder pt. 3) is on Kickstarter

Not a press release per see, but had problems to find the right place. For gamebook-hungry people like me there is no better age than the digital age. There are tons of good fantasy gamebooks by inkle, Tin Man Games and Choice of Games but not all that much in the Sci-Fi (Horror?) Genre. Boy was I p...

Hot Darn - I want that unnamed Viking Game hard!
I am in love with sprite art based games and this one looks to be shaping up very well.
Very nice find!

What is the game the topmost Screenshot/ Header is from?
