Anybody else here tried Eternal? Just got into the beta and it seems a lot like a streamlined Magic, polished but nothing super innovative so far, but have only cleared 1 of the 5 factions in this early tutorial, perhaps more depth will be revealed later.

I tried it the other day and found it very dry without heart. Just a lot of numbers vs. numbers which you can level up to get bigger numbers.

Good goofy fun, I'm loving how even kissing up to some of these factions to 100% can screw you over BY THAT VERY FACTION!

Re: Fear of the Dark (Ages): It's Our New Release Post

As far as progression, your goal is really to improve your guild so it produces better types of heroes and allows you to pick up better loot or start with better blessings in each run. While each hero I've seen so far does start over at level 1 when it starts a new quest, you can level up the hero ...

It's a bit of both. There are scripted missions you can undertake for a reward. But you can also have unscripted encounters with the Tyranids as you try and repel them from your systems. Do they leave room for any randomization within these scripted missions? I mean will enemy setup (specific ships...
