Re: Pocket Tactics' Boxing Day Guide

Yeah, now that Ticket to Earth has updated, it both makes the game longer and makes it more likely they will continue to do so. So it is much easier to recommend it highly than it was at launch, when the fun gameplay and setting were marred by a high cost for little value.

Thanks, that was a lot easier with the drop down menus too. Better than going back and forth to a tab with the review index.

Hey, where is the turn-based strategy option? I don’t see that, but I do see RPG on there twice.

Re: Out Now: Extremely Limited Edition

Well, I came here for the site name (given my love of SRPGs) but I stayed because I liked a site that reviewed serious apps (read: not freemium junk, lame Minecraft cash-ins, repetitive creature 'simulators' or grindy garbage, among others), tactical or not. After finding this site in early '16, you...

Two weeks in a row I got something thanks to these articles. Crowntakers this time and Crashlands before it. Thanks for keeping us updated!

I don't know about anyone else, but my responses to your PM keep getting stuck in my outbox ...
Ditto. I tried sending it again with a different message title and the same thing happened.

Re: Review: Galaxy of Pen & Paper

Knights of Pen and Paper did become a bit of a dull grindfest. Hard not to believe this would would avoid that. Not overly offended by he exclusion, but it really might be good to mention previous games in a series just to have an easy standard for comparison.

Re: Return of the Giveaway: Strike Team Hydra - Enter Now!

iOS please! EHow about Noob-Noob for my fellow Rick and Morty fans? Not literally, but someone like that, a normally support character called up to frontline action who has a lot of chutzpah but no real experience. Call them The Reservist. They can provide buffs to units around them through their in...

Re: A Good Dev is Hard to Find

Someone else had mentioned Upwork. It was way out of my price range though, or that of most other individuals I would imagine. Who just had thousands of dollars lying around to pay for the dozens or hundreds of hours needed for the job? And even if you did have it, could you possibly even make it ba...

Re:

Totally agree with the review and the above comments (except I personally liked Age of Rivals the more I played it, especially online since each game only takes a few minutes). No need to be sorry at all Joe, it seemed like a neat game at first, and it is nice looking, until actually playing for a ...
