Re:

Totally agree with the review and the above comments (except I personally liked Age of Rivals the more I played it, especially online since each game only takes a few minutes). No need to be sorry at all Joe, it seemed like a neat game at first, and it is nice looking, until actually playing for a ...

Re: App-ocalypse

I wonder how many apps will update in he eleventh hour. I bought and played Bard's Tale to get it in before the end, only to see them update a few weeks later. Still a lot of big ones out there that aren't ready, though. I am bummed I won't get a chance to go through all of Wesnoth, since there are ...

Re: Review: Dead Age

Having unfortunately bought this game, I would call this an apt review. I stopped playing around day 9, when the same fights, annoying 'date' missions and terrible menus all combined with having the app quit out when I was on battle 12 of a 20 battle mission, and knowing I would have to do it all ag...

Not so sure about the game, but at least it was an interesting review.

Re: A Good Dev is Hard to Find

Ha, crowd-sourcing makes me think of that new Takl app for getting people to do your chores. Would be a hoot to put 'code my mobile game' on there just to see how they would respond.

Thanks anyhow for the response. I do not anticipate finding an easy answer, but we have not because we ask not.

A Good Dev is Hard to Find

Almost a year ago, I came up with what I believe is a very solid idea for a mobile SRPG. The problem is, I do not know how to code. I have a couple friends who do but they have day jobs and don't have the time to bite off a project of this size. So I ask: does anyone know a way around this? Is there...

Yeah, if the update doesn't come it'll be the Galactic Keep debacle all over again. I am sure that second module is coming any day now...

Re: Review: Ticket to Earth

I bought this last month after being intrigued by it in your article about independent developers. I agree that it is quite well-made, but still disagree with the rating. Six hours might be overstating it; I would say 4-5 at best. And that is including all the optional Justice missions (I even repla...

Grimrock shows as 4.99, is the sale over already? Bummer.

Re: PT Guides: Like... XCOM? You'll Love These!

Seriously? Dang. I have a lot of oldies I play on occasion that might be impacted. Also makes me wary of paying money for any more old apps that will potentially end up gonzo.
