<t>Great article. Quick comment on the ubiquitous greying of the hobby trope I think you hit the nail on the head with the introduction of rules that allow easy transition to historical miniatures. <br/> <br/> <br/> From my observations at recent HMGS conventions I have seen lots of new and younger ...

Good point that's exactly what I was thinking. That's how I get most Too Fat Lardies rule sets for example. Warlord also sell PDFs.

Slitherine/Matrix does a good job with their PBEM multiplayer system. There are also community run tournaments for Field of Glory II for example that work well for pvp in that system.

<t>Very well thought out review, one I also happen to agree with! I am finishing up the Blitzkrieg DLC right now. I am used to playing tactical table top games and the occasional foray into War Thunder with representations of individual vehicles. Every so often I pause and think what are the stats i...

Now I can relive 1980's exercises in the Fulda Gap with my armor battalion! Not really into modern titles or RTS but I may have to get this one because of the setting!

<t>I can confirm that the food was indeed good and the line was only long for lunch if you wanted a burger. I heard many comments on the endlessly ongoing construction. One wonders how they could stay open with all the common areas in disarray. Speaking of that my games were supposed to be in the ma...

Re:

Touching. But anybody with a standard education realizes that both, World War one and two had nothing to do with freedom.
My, my a touch cynical aren't we. I have a strong suspicion that Jewish people liberated from concentration camps would disagree with your opinion.

<t>Sounds like a typical MMO playerbase. Lots of pubbies running around playing a solo game, etc. I would expect an organized clan might be necessary to get something actually resembling a formation of Napoleonic line infantry! <br/> <br/> I was wondering if "War of Rights" the ACW FPS which is very...
