can't wait for my Goblin team to reach Mythic status, but i'm afraid they won't rock the boat as i'm constantly keep beating all kinds of Goblin defenders with the "heavy spell damage" team :cry:

so i eventually ran into "dhjl", always on top slots on the leaderboard. #1 last season, #2 in the moment.

well, essentially a True Damage team. All Mythics, complete traits.
so of course i went into combat with the "heavy spell damage" team.

rest assured, they did a good job :P

My biggest thing with this game is just how many damned traitstones you neeed to get some variety!

OMFG! Takes FOREVER.

I am 100days in and i think I have one troop (Valk) that is fully traited.

Congrats, JammaTal!

That's quite the testimonial, I'll start working up one of those teams, too. :)

I think Defense is hard to do, the advantages on choosing a team to counter the defenders seems to heavily favor the attacker, as well as the option on whether to even attack or not, and even then the Defense team has to hope the A.I. doesn't bungle the defense. As JammaTal wrote, I'm going to be "content with 1:2 " or so. While the sample size is small, at my level against the opponents that attack me my Crimson Bat*, Goblin Shaman**, Goblin***, Marsh Raptor** defense team seems to do about that controlled by the A.I., so will turn my focus and resources back to tinkering with more different types of attack teams (except I do want to keep traiting Crimson Bat for attack teams as well as the defense one).

1:2 is excellent. we could be happy with that.

btw i was wondering about dhjl's Crimson Bat's enormous "16 true damage to all" ability.
but then it came to my mind that he obviously owns some 5-star kingdoms to get those double skill magic boni.
and who knows how many more attack/armour/life double boni?
must admit i had forgotten about this old/new grinding mill after reaching level 10 for all kingdoms.
but now that my Whitehelm kingdom has reached 4-star power level at 2400, i learned that the ultimate goal for 5-star level is at (only?) 2600.
so here we go! yes, we can!
let me just do the maths...
5x level 19, 3x level 18, 1x level 16 creatures with 12 traits sum up for 2400 points. so i need just 6 more traits (150 pts) and 5 more level ups to reach the ultimate 5-star kingdom.
so let me look up all those magic kingdoms...
ultimate Ninja team, here i come!
well...in maybe 2 or 3 years...
or in other words as an answer to Baelnor: that will take forever :o

Emos' hero's weapon was the Prismatic Orb.
his team members were all Mythics with full traits.
2x Jarls with Moloch can be a real nasty bunch.

in my team Coronet and Giant Spider have grown to Mythics. Valkyrie is well on her way. all 3 full traits.
the Keeper...not so. only 2/5 and one trait. 2/10 of needed Arcane Skull Traitstones for Life Drain (gain 4 life when an enemy dies).
his traits nice but not essential. Life Drain and the 3rd trait Soul Legion would not hurt though (50% chance to summon a Wight when an enemy dies). gimme!
