Great account of the battle. Was it even points per side? The Tyranids seemed to have an advantage.

Yes, it was even: Space Marines are higher-power higher-cost units, so, for example, the three Hiveships cost slightly less that the two Battlebarges.

In hindsight, I wish I'd handicapped myself. I really expected the computer to toast my "decoy" Hiveship, it just didn't play out that way.

Late to the party but I really appreciate the effort you put down to this AAR. (^.^)=b
I like it very much and we should have more of this stuff here for games like that!

When I finish Deathwatch:Tyranid Invasion I plan on plunging into Templar Battleforce in full force....that Game presents itself as an ideal canvas for such AAR in my book.
