well, Android users can rejoice: found (by chance, as is frustratingly common for Android, but that's another topic ...) that both games are now available through Google Play in a free to try / demo model with a single IAP to unlock the full game (which is an excellent schema IMHO):

Thanks Anto ... I forgot to come back and update.

The game's are both available on Android. Though a fair warning, they require a fairly new phone (Galaxy S6 and newer, for example). I've been trying to optimize further for Android to make it work on older devices but not having much luck so far.
