I found Deathwatch: Tyranid Invasion to be fun and on harder difficulty replays, challenging as hell. Also, the voice acting is great.

Nice round-up of my favourite genre (Templar Battleforce is outstanding with regular updates from committed developers).

Just a note on apps that display the "Slow Down" warning. This may be meaningless right now but won't be when iOS 11 arrives and all support for 32 bit applications is dropped (i.e. Unless the developer updates, the app is dead).

That's Apple for ya. On the upside I'm reliably informed that this will free up a fair chunk of storage (not having to effectively install two OSs).

As mentioned above, 32-bit complied apps/games will not work in the next major iOS release, so be careful if downloading games containing the warning message fe Apple. Expect to say goodbye to these games under iOS9 unless developers re-compile and update as a 64bit binary. It's not hard to do for most apps but there are many lazy developers out there.

Seriously? Dang. I have a lot of oldies I play on occasion that might be impacted. Also makes me wary of paying money for any more old apps that will potentially end up gonzo.

Is this game still supported? I had found it during previous searches for asynchronous games, but it looked like it had been abandoned by the developers.

Hey everyone. I'm the maker of Aliens versus Humans. We are actively working on adding 64-bit support and will patch when done.

FWIW, I've been playing the original on an iPhone 6S+ and there is no slow down in play. The game still runs on our first device we released for: a iPhone 3GS.

Just an update on Aliens versus Humans. We've added 64-bit support so AvH will live on for a while longer. If you want the thrill of the original X-Com, pick it up. It's worth the price.
