Thanks for the shout out. Hope those that got the codes enjoy the game.

Since Apple approved the game much more quickly than I expected, I've been working on an update to the launch version. It has a bunch of improvements, a new range modifier rule for shooting attacks, some extra levels and a 12th character.

The 12th character is a gun droid, a walking artillery piece very similar to the walking cannon from Demon's Rise 1. I might release the game a little sooner too so might be a week earlier than the 21st.

The two codes must have been gobbled up pretty quick, based on when I tried to get one earlier. Shame.

Good luck to Wavelightgames with the release, it looks like a good game.

@wavelightgames: I encountered a couple bugs while messing with the settings on my iPhone 6+, iOS v10.3.2:

1. I think I've determined that enabling Dynamic Shadows causes the game to crash (minimize) while the recruitment screen is loading. If it's because my device doesn't support it, are you able to permanently disable graphics options that aren't supported by the device upon which the game's being played?

2. Set SFX VOLUM to 90, tap either Graphics or Gameplay tab, tap Default, tap Audio tab and notice the value for SFX VOLUM remains at 90, but the slider returns to the 50 position.

The Strike Team Alpha screen shot was such a tease :-)

@wavelightgames I still play DR1 more than DR2 because there's more variety. I hope we see more characters for DR2, and a similar number for STA. I'd even pay for add-on packs of characters for either.

I can attest that 8 Minute Empire is a really enjoyable board game, ideal for translation to an app, honestly. Hopefully, they'll add 8ME Legends to the app eventually as well.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into both items.

Demon's Rise 2 is getting a new character in the next update and should eventually have 20 in total. I'm not going to go as high as 30 like I did for Demon's Rise 1. It's just a lot of work and really confuses new players when they see a roster with 30 character classes. Strike Team Hydra may settle with the launch number of 12 classes, to be honest. It's a different style of game and I don't think having more than 12 classes would suit it to the same degree.
