Everybody wants to rule the world, but who has the time to conquer it? Sure, I'd love to burrow down the rabbit hole of some awesome 4x game but I...

I know it might sound funny, but I couldn't see a way to zoom out and see the whole map, so deleted the game. Was I being a numpty or is that the case?

SKOPTIC, you pinch to zoom in and out. Zoomed fully out I can see the full map (less a bit of space around the edges).

Nice review, Nick : ) I did not know about this game at all. And like you, I'm much more into "games that feed that need without butting up against my day-to-day obligations," as you put it. Giving this one a try for sure.

Did you try more than one faction? Are you limited to playing as only one faction in the free trial?

Fun game to pass the time and fully worth $15 bucks. I hop ethey add orcs and dwarves as dlc in the future. Some of the campaigns are tough, the third Hundred Kingdoms campaign is oddly placed, but once you get passed it, much fun.

(game dev here) Thanks for the great review. Wanted to answer Buttsauce's dreams by saying that we'll be releasing a new DLC within the month which will have a full campaign for the Dwarves, playable Dwarf race (they prefer to be called Stoneborne) and a bunchof new cards and things for not only the Dwarves, but all of the characters!

I like the game, but I'm very uncertain on that price point. As mentioned in the forum I would prefer to see something done with the cards (card building meta, unlocking new cards etc) and also hero progression (acquire new skills, etc).

I have found that as the Kingdom, if you rush to get Cannons you can pretty much hammer everything. A load of cannons and some guards and you are laughing.

It IS fun, but very costly against games such XCOM etc.

I so wish someone would do a mobile version of Disciples the PC game . Is this similar to it at all?
