The tension in Darkest Dungeon is crazy. The death of a high-ranked character is like a punch to the gut, but on the other hand you just might pull off an escape from a grim situation, no matter that your crew is barely clinging to life and barking mad from stress. It's not a light game, in any sense. I can take it only in occasional doses.

The art is super and the narrator is outstanding, with a number of memorable lines. "Slowly, gently, this is how a life is taken."

I played Darkest Dungeon on the PC and although I liked a lot of it, the difficulty was just brutal. Like "hit yourself in the head with a hammer for fun" brutal. If they could just add a "Wussy" or "Snowflake" mode for people like me that want to play it through but want to have some sort of chance without wild grinding.

The art and tone is off the hook though...

Zot, are you aware of the Radiant mode added in February? It makes the game shorter by reducing the grind:

It helps, but I too wouldn't mind an even less difficult "snowflake" mode.

I am totally excited for Bad North...

really hoping it comes together and provides an equally fun gameplay to the awesome (imho) presentation.

Burgle Bros is an awesome board game! My friends and I have had a really good time whenever we have played it. Great to hear that it is available on mobile!

Zenish, I wasn't aware of that mode as I haven't played it for more than a year now. It sounds promising and I might pick it up when it drops for iOS. When I was playing the PC version, I remember fondly wishing it was on a tablet as it seemed to lend well to that format. Thanks for the info.
