I'm a regular, daily reader of this site, so don't take this the wrong way --
I'm disappointed in this review. There is absolutely no mention of the previous game. How does this compare to the previous game?

At first, the first game was fun ... but it got so old and so boring so quickly! I didn't like that each character had essentially 2 (or three?) moves throughout the whole game. And "leveling them up" only added some damage points. It was boring.

Is this similar? Are the battles a bit more tactical, with more choices of what to do during the fights?

Knights of Pen and Paper did become a bit of a dull grindfest. Hard not to believe this would would avoid that. Not overly offended by he exclusion, but it really might be good to mention previous games in a series just to have an easy standard for comparison.
