Donut County is a quizzical, whimsical not-quite puzzler brimming with charm and vision. Players control a hole in the ground, ‘driving’ it around town to swallow anything and everything they...

Really good review of a game that was not on my radar but that I may actually try now. Love the style, and the idea that it is narrative as much as (or more than) skill-driven is weirdly appealing to me at this point.

Also quite enjoy your line about people's homes being glorified trash receptacles, because that's what so many look like to me. When we walk into someone's place and think, "I'd never have those things in my house or apartment," what we're really saying is "What a load of garbage theyv'e amassed here."

Really fun game, and a wonderful concept. About as simple and clever as Angry Birds, and super satisfying to eat all that stuff with your hole. Nice development of challenges that play off the concept. But... the dialogue cut scenes get really tedious. And from what I read of them, they're not really funny or witty enough to justify the time you spend clicking through them. Just let me devour stuff with my hole!! They really need to make those skippable.
