Fri Jun 28, 2019 10:34 am

The amount of stuff I’ve had to pack into today’s update pretty much sums up our week in general.

If I already have Civ6, is there anything particularly noteworthy about CivRev2?

Probably not actually - Civ Rev and its sequel was an attempt to make a mobile-friendly version of Civilization back when you couldn't just port a game to mobile, like you can do now because of better technology.

It's a stripped down version of the game based on Civilization 4's rules... which I guess is a selling point in itself as the differences between Civ 6 and Civ 4 are like night and day at this point.

I'd say Civ Rev is a decent enough shout if you don't already have Civ 6, but if you do... I'd be hard pressed to give you a concrete argument as to why you'd want Rev as well. Maybe one of the others can chip in with some thoughts.
